Youth AccountsYouth accounts are available to minors under the age of 18. Minors between the ages of 14-17 are eligible to open a savings account without a parent or guardian if the parent or guardian signs the parental consent form. A parent or guardian is required to obtain an ATM card. Minors between the ages of 16-17 are eligible to open a checking account and receive a debit card with a parent or guardian on the account. All parents and/or guardians must be in good standing with New Generations FCU to sign. After the age of 18, the youth account coverts to a traditional savings account.
